On arriving at the airport - City discoveries had put GENDER as my wife's surname, which obviously did not match her ID. The airport staff after 55 minutes waiting finally agreed to change the name to enable us to fly - but charged us $100. The error was by City Discoveries as the pick up service had the same mistake and he had the List for 2 days. Not good administration on your part. The tour itself was very good though and we had excellent service at ends, apart from this hiccup.

It was such an amazing day! We got to see both the american n canadian sides of the falls! Seeing and hearing the waterfall roar was breathtaking. We even got to see the whirlpool which was a nice suprise. The tour guide was so informative. The buffet was on the canadian side n the food was so good. The resturant walls are all glass so you get to see the falls as you enjoy ur food. The icing on the cake was goin into the heart of the falls on the maid of the mist and wearing the sexy raincoats. It was such a fab day I would defo go again.

Very good tour, lovely place to go see but not sure we needed to stop for souvenirs before seeing the falls. Food was not all that special- lots of fruit but not much choice of meat or desserts. I would recommend this trip in the winter as there were no queues

We did enjoy this tour and everyone, in particular our driver and guide was excellent. We appreciate that our visit was in the winter and therefore would be cold; what would of been nice was if the tour changed to accommodate this, for example, visiting ponds with sparse wildlife could of been changed to allowing us some free time to explore the area ourselves. We were unable to visit the tower with revolving restaurant which would of been amazing! The tour should recognise the different needs of those who chose a winter tour or a summer one. But, please this experience was amazing!

Seeing Niagara is worthwhile although the tour is dragged out - there are only so many angles that you want to see the falls from. The logistics coordination is not good, not too sure how well City Discovery assess them. You pay a lot of money and then end up doing all of the chasing yourself in terms of confirming the trip and arranging your transfers. If you get stranded (as we did due to our flight back being cancelled), you are left to your own devices - be prepared!!

We were picked up at the time they said, yes it was a long day but one of the very best. excellent tour guide (eduardo) good flights etc with jet blue. The lunch choice was amazing with great views over the falls. really well organised and moved at a great pace. We found it moved along quickly but didn't feel rushed at all. only disappointment was organisation to meet cars/drivers when we returned to JFK and were all a bit confused, driver NYC end on return rushed us all a bit.

We also did Night on the Town tour with a great guide called Raphaela and a lovely driver called Mr Peters. They both made our tour top notch as he was agreat driver , very smooth which is important as my daughter suffers with travel sickness and the guide was excellent. She was most informative but very amusing as well. Unfortunately,we could not take advantage of going on liberty island or Ellis island due to hurricane damage but as we have been before, this was not to much of a problem. We think the tickets are excellent value and would recommend the company to everyone

Our guide; Robert, was fantastic. The music portion of the tour was a little short at 50 minutes but the tears streaming down my wife's face proved it was an excellent 50 minutes. The only downside was the need to exchange the voucher for a ticket at Gray Line and then exchange the ticket again at Harlem Spirituals.

1.For the 2 days we were there the wait for a bus was around 3/4 to 1 hr. and this was very frustrating. Should have been more buses. 2. Wanted to do the Brooklyn Night Tour and could not find bus stop at Battery Park. 3. The Tour guide on Uptown bus spoke far to quickly and was telling jokes and suggesting places to eat instead of giving a detailed summary of where we were.

I would reccomend the Double Decker Tour to anyone visiting New York. We went on the downtown loop very early on our first full day in New York. This loop covered most of the major attractions. Taking the tour helped us to find our way around the city. The hop on - hop off elemet of the tour meant we did not use taxis or the subway as the tour buses were available every fifteen minutes. The tour guides were very informative and all staff were very friendly. We also used the tour bus for the holiday lights tour. The only problem we had was the cold sitting ustairs on the open top bus,which was expected in December but it was worth braving the cold for the excellent views of the city. The tour was very reasonably priced, it is best to book in advance as it is considerably more expensive to book when you are there.

The bus was not air-conditioned (due to age of the bus) and not pleasant on the hottest day in June that they have had!! Most uncomfortable and was not able to make full use of the pass (due to the intolerable conditions). Variable tour guides, and did not like the constant soliciting for tips.

We had a really good time on Sunday Oct 14th with our guide Joel and our driver Patricia. We saw interesting and beautiful sights and Joel offerd us insight we wouldn't have been able to get elsewhere. The 1-hour-cruise was an added bonus. Although it was really windy it was also as sunny as it could be. Our needs for lunch and bathroom breaks were accommodated. Also, it was great that we had our own bus. Thank you!

We went on the cruise on 8th November 09 and consider it certainly good value for money. Would recommend sitting inside the cabin as it got quite cold outside, mind you, it was November!! The views of the buildings by night was fantastic and we couldn't believe how close we got to the Statue of Liberty. Would recommend it - after a long day of walking and shopping the chance to sit back and relax was very welcome.

We felt it hadn't been emphasized when we booked that this was a do it yourself tour. Even the fellow at Grayline had never been to Washington DC so couldn't be specific in his advice. The staff at the Hop on Hop off bus ticket office in Union Station were very unhelpful and unfriendly and brushed our questions off. It was only that we were very familiar with the buses in NYC that we were confident of touring on these buses. We felt we had to watch the time very carefully which took away some of the enjoyment.

We liked it because Washington is a beautiful city but when we arrive, nobody explain us our journey and at 2 pm we were told to take a bus but it was not a gay line bus, it was a hop on hop off bus. So maybe the persons at the railway station must be more present at the arrivals.

Hop on / Off bus tours were very good. It also Included a trip up the Empire state building and harbour cruise to Statue of Liberty. What we weren't told was that the island was closed as the pier had been washed away in the last Hurricane, so felt let down we missed out on the statue.

The only point of inconvenience is that we should have our flight around 03:00 pm and it was realized at 05:00 pm, so we saw NYC by night in place of day. More : we have to spend 02 hours outside in the blowing freeze wind in order to wait our trip, it was not amazing and nobody made any effort to change that.
