3 giorni in Normandia, Bretagna e nella Valle della Loira : evocazione della storia di Francia dal Medio Evo ai giorni nostri.

1° giorno: Autostrada della Normandia. Visita guidata a piedi del centro storico di Rouen (il Grosso Orologio, la cattedrale, e la piazza del mercato dove fu bruciata viva Giovanna d'Arco). Vista del ponte della Normandia. Honfleur : pranzo libero. Le spiagge dello Sbarco del 1944. Omaha beach : visita del cimitero americano di Saint Laurent. Arromanches (fermata). Caen : Cena e pernottamento al Novotel di Caen (o simile).

2° giorno: Visita di Saint-Malo, antica città di corsari. Pranzo libero. Monte St-Michel : visita guidata dell'abbazia. Cena e pernottamento ad Angers al Mercure-Lac de Maine (o simile).

3° giorno: Angers (vista esterna del castello). Passaggio a Cunault e Saumur. Visita guidata del
castello di Langeais. Amboise : pranzo libero. Visita guidata del castello di Chenonceau.
Cheverny. Visita guidata del castello di Chambord*. Ritorno a Parigi: verso le ore 21.00.


* In Ottobre: visita del castello di Cheverny al posto di Chambord.

We take the Normandy motorway and make our first stop at Rouen for a walking tour in the old town best known for it Gothic structures, churches, museums and surviving half-timbered buildings. It is also known for being the site where Joan of Arc was burned at the stake.

Picturesque Honfleur with it old beautiful houses with slate-covered frontages is the tour's next stop where we'll have some free time for lunch (not included). On the way between Rouen and Honfleur, there is a view of the newly built Normandy bridge.

We continue to the beaches of Normandy where we pass by the Landing Beaches of Omaha, pay a visit to the American cemetery of Saint-Laurent and stop at Arromanches.

Dinner and overnight accommodation is at the nearby Novotel Caen (or similar).

On Friday, we set off from Caen in the direction of Saint-Malo located in the heart of the Brittany region. Saint-Malo, notorious for being the former home of the corsairs, French privateers and pirates, is the most visited place in Brittany. The tour features a guided visit of the town including a walk along the ramparts and the cathedral.

After some free time for lunch (not included), we depart for Mont-Saint-Michel where we continue our afternoon with a guided visit of the abbey and have some free time for strolling and shopping.

We have dinner and spend the night at Mercure-Lac de Maine hotel (or similar) in Angers.

On Saturday, we depart the hotel with short stop at the Château d'Angers, before moving on to Amboise passing by Cunault and Saumur. A guided visit of the Château of Langeais is followed soon after by some free time for lunch (not included) in Amboise.

After lunch, we head for guided visits of the Château de Chenonceau and the "Château de Chambord," the largest and most imposing castle in the valley.

Please Note
- Children below 4 years old can take the tours for free. Any hotel or restaurant expenses must be paid for directly by the parents.
- There are free times to enjoy buying souvenirs as there is a full range of shops around the different visited places and to try maybe the different local culinary specialties.
- Clients with walking difficulties will not be able to reach the Mont Saint-Michel Abbey because of the steps going up to the abbey.
- Comfortable clothes and good shoes are recommended.
